The eDefender starts from the raised position in most applications. Upon receiving a signal from an access control system or push button, the bollard(s) lower simultaneously to provide access for one vehicle. After the vehicle has cleared the safety zones, the bollard(s) raise to the upright position. Optionally this bollard has an Emergency Deployment mode which allows for very fast upward motion of the bollard when an emergency occurs.

eDefender Bollards

The eDefender Bollard Series is available in automatic retractable, manual retractable, and fixed (stationary) models. All models are 30” or 39" tall (above ground surface) and 10 3/4” in diameter. Manufactured with a special alloy steel, these bollards can restrict access into sensitive areas on a government, commercial or private property.

With the ability to resist an extremely high impact (K4, K8, K12), and inherent safety and reliability only available with electric bollards, the eDefender Series is ideal for most applications where high security is required.
