eGuardian AUTOMATIC Breakaway Bollards
A 20" or 31.5" tall bollard that will provide a visual deterrent but is designed with patented shredding screws that will allow the bollard to "breakaway" from its housing under minimal impact and therefore minimize injury to drivers and damage to both vehicles and bollards. Ideal for light-security public areas where the security required is minimal and the liability exposure is high.
A 31.5" tall bollard designed to provide exceptional resistance to impacts. The eDefender typically operates from the raised position and lowers upon input from access control system or security guard to allow authorized vehicle to pass. After the vehicle has cleared the area, the bollards raise to the normal position.
